How do G1 Glasses use AI to assist and possibly aid in cheating? Know here
Many people are now integrating AI into their products to make them easier to use. Recently, a company developed AI-powered glasses that could potentially allow students to cheat on exams.
The company, Even Realities, has created a pair of AI glasses called the “G1 Glasses.” These glasses look like normal eyewear, but they have a floating screen that only the wearer can see.
This means that during a test, the glasses can display answers or a textbook right in front of the user’s eyes, making it possible to cheat without anyone knowing. However, using them in this way is unethical.
The G1 Glasses feature a special display technology using an exit-pupil expanding waveguide. They have two tiny projectors that beam images onto a special layer in the lenses, creating a head-up display that the wearer can see.
In addition to this, the glasses can provide directions while walking or biking, so you don’t have to constantly check your phone.
They can also translate images in real time and have an AI assistant that provides answers to your questions without speaking out loud, similar to Siri or Alexa.
One of the coolest aspects of these AI glasses is how undetectable they are. Unless someone looks from an extreme angle, they won’t see the display.
The glasses could also help reduce phone addiction. Imagine how often you check your phone for notifications or information, only to get distracted.
With these glasses, information can float into your vision only when you need it, eliminating the need to constantly check your phone.
The G1 Glasses offer features such as quick notes, translation, navigation, and teleprompter functions. They have built-in AI that listens, visually responds, and provides notifications.
According to reports, the G1 Glasses are set to start shipping in August.
