Many people are often busy with work or in meetings and may not be able to answer phone calls at that time.

To address this issue, Apple has introduced a new feature called "Personal Voice."

This feature allows you to speak with your family and friends using a synthesised voice that sounds like your own.

This feature is currently available only on Apple devices like iPhone 12 or later and iPad Air (5th generation).

To set up your Personal Voice, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Apple Settings app.
  2. In the search bar, type "Personal Voice" and tap on it.
  3. Select "Create a Personal Voice" and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. You'll be prompted to record some phrases that will be used to create your Personal Voice.

Once the set up is done, when you receive a call from a family member or friend, you can activate your Personal Voice by pressing the side-mounted button three times.

This will bring up an accessibility shortcut. Choose "Live Speech," and a box will appear where you can type what you want to say.

Your Personal Voice will then speak the text aloud to the caller, allowing them to hear your voice.
