Google Slides update: Users can collaborate with friends now

If you use google slides for making presentations, then you can collaborate now with your colleagues, using this feature. Google slides is now introducing a new feature, this will let the user click on collaborate with a new avatar. They can directly jump on the slide they are on in the slides toolbar and follow them they can continue to edit the presentation. 

A new feature of google is rolling out as “Follow” in slides, which will authorise the users to collaborate with their colleagues. This new follow feature is based upon the existing feature from which the users can see what slide their colleague is on.

This feature does not have admin bounds and will be on by default. To follow the collaborator, click on the icon of the avatar in the toolbar. When you follow the avatar, the following pin will appear to stop the following click on the same avatar again.

In this update ‘if the collaborator leaves the page or refreshes the page or you make any edits to their presentation, or you click a different slide you will automatically stop following. 

Moreover, earlier this year, the tech giant announced it will participate in or present during a Google Meet call using Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
