WhatsApp is undeniably the most popular instant messaging platform with a large user base.

It keeps adding attractive features that make it stand out among other applications.

Recently, WhatsApp has been in the spotlight for its quality features.

Some of these include Chat Lock, the ability to edit messages within 15 minutes, and chat transfer, among others.

These new features have been added to the app in recent days.

One of the recent enhancements allows users to quickly record and send voice messages to individuals or group chats.

This makes it easier to communicate without having to write long texts.

Now, WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is introducing the ability to quickly send videos in a similar manner.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, announced this feature on his Instagram Channel.

The new feature lets you instantly record and share video messages in your WhatsApp chats, making it as easy as sending a quick video message.

The rollout of the video message feature has already begun and will be available to everyone in the coming week.

WhatsApp claims that these video messages are protected with end-to-end encryption, ensuring user privacy.

With this new feature, users can send WhatsApp video messages that are up to 60 seconds long.

To use it, users have to simply open the WhatsApp app, click on the camera option, record the video clip, and send it to individuals or groups.

When the receiver opens the video message in a WhatsApp chat, the clip will play automatically, but with the sound muted.

Tapping on the video will start the sound so that the recipient can hear the message as well.
