However, many people are unaware of some interesting features it offers. Here are some cool features of the Threads app:

Quick Follow

If you are interested in following celebrities or influencers and want to see their posts on your Threads home page, you can quickly follow them without even opening their profiles.

Simply tap on their profile picture plus icon to instantly follow them.

Create New Thread

Within Threads, you have the option to create threads within threads.

To do this, click on the "+" icon at the bottom of the app, and you can easily create sub-threads by clicking the enter button three times.

Mute Users

Threads allow you to mute notifications from specific individuals.

This handy feature is built into the app.

To mute someone, click on the three dots of a post from the account you wish to mute, and in the drop-down menu, select the mute option for that post.

Hide Words

Threads also include a feature that allows you to hide specific words.

This is particularly useful for offensive or policy-violating words, as well as mentions of specific users.

To access this feature, go to the profile of the user whose words you want to hide.

Click on the hamburger menu, then select the Privacy button.

From there, navigate to Hidden Words, where you can enable the option to hide offensive words and phrases.

You can also add custom words to the list.
