Boston Dynamics' Atlas humanoid robot doing push-ups as part of workout routine – Watch

New software and hardware innovations are constantly emerging in today’s world, especially with the rise of AI technology. 

Recently, there’s been a buzz in the hardware industry with new humanoid robots gaining popularity on social media.

One exciting development comes from the company Boston Dynamics, which has introduced an all-electric version of its humanoid robot, Atlas. 

They recently shared a video on their official X (formerly Twitter) account featuring Atlas doing a workout. 

In the video, Atlas performs push-ups, completing eight reps before standing up again.

The caption for the video reads, “Atlas doing a quick warm-up before work.” The video has garnered 1.2 million views, along with numerous likes and comments.

One user expressed enthusiasm, saying, “I love it! But why no HANDS 🙌🏻 ✋?? 🤨 Give the bot some hands!” 

Meanwhile, another user inquired, “Who is the opponent—Unitree, Figure 02, or Optimus?” 

There was also a serious question from another commenter: “How many push-ups can this do without stopping or charging?” 

Lastly, another user added, “When you go public, I’m going to buy your robots 😂.

Meanwhile, Boston Dynamics is in the early stages of commercializing Atlas for use on factory floors.
