'Ask Photos' by Google: How to find and manage your images with AI Tool on Android and iOS
Tech giant Google unveiled the Ask Photos feature at its annual developer conference I/O 2024 in May.
Today, the company has announced that this feature is now rolling out to both Android and iOS users.
Ask Photos is an AI tool that allows users to ask questions about their photos in Google Photos. Using Google’s Gemini AI models, the app provides results based on the content of your photos and displays the most relevant images related to your query.
For example, you can ask Ask Photos to summarise activities from your last vacation or to pick the best photo from a collection.
To use Ask Photos, open the Google Photos app on your smartphone. In the app, you will find a button labeled “Ask.”
Tap this button, and a microphone will appear. You can then speak your query, such as “Show me pictures from my birthday party last year” or “Find photos of my kids playing soccer.”
After you submit your question, review the search results provided by Google Photos. The app will show images that match your criteria, thanks to its AI technology.
You can refine your search by adding more details or adjusting your query.
Once you find the photos you want, you can save them to your device or share them with friends and family.
You can also perform other actions directly within the Google Photos app.
