India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Thursday laid to rest the rumours that things weren’t well between him and his dancer-choreographer wife Dhanashree Verma. The star cricketer silenced the rumour mongers with an Instagram post.

Taking to his Insta stories, he wrote, “A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly put an end to it. Love and Light to everyone.”

Earlier, rumours were making the rounds that their marriage was falling apart after Dhanashree removed ‘Chahal’ surname from her Instagram handle. Fans suspected that there was a possible rift between the couple.

After tying the knot with the Indian cricketer, Dhanashree had added the surname ‘Chahal’ on her Instagram handle. But, for some reason best known to her, she removed her husband’s surname and returned to her maiden name.

Moreover, the leg-spinner had also shared a cryptic post on his Instagram handle. In the now viral post, he spoke about starting a new life.
“New Life Loading….” Chahal had written on his Instagram handle. This left his fans confused who assumed that things weren’t fine between the star couple.

However, Chahal has put to rest all the rumours with his Insta post.

After Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, they are one of the most loved cricket jodis. They often show their PDA on social media and give major couple goals. The madly-in-love couple often groove together and share the videos on social media as Dhanashree is a popular YouTuber and choreographer.

Worth mentioning, the couple tied the knot on December 22, 2020 after years of dating.
