Yuvraj Singh’s father hails MS Dhoni in dramatic U-turn

Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh has often criticised former India captain MS Dhoni and given controversial remarks against him. However, Yograj recently made a dramatic U-turn and hailed the former Captain Cool. Several fans were surprised over the development.

As per reports, Yograj praised Dhoni’s captaincy by terming it as impressive. According to Yograj, Dhoni is a motivated captain. He also highlighted Dhoni’s ability to read the wicket and guide the bowlers.

“MS Dhoni has been a motivated captain and his guidance was spot on. He read the wicket and instructed the bowlers accordingly. He is a fearless man and I liked this quality,” said Yograj.

Yograj also recalled how Dhoni punished Australian speedster Mitchell Johnson after being struck on the helmet.

“Dhoni was hit on the helmet by Mitchell Johnson. He was not bothered and hit the pacer for a six on the next ball. That is why people like Dhoni,” said Yograj.

Notably, veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Dhoni has been retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the 2025 session of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL). 

Notably, former CSK captain Dhoni will play in the upcoming edition of the IPL for CSK as an uncapped player, considering he hasn’t represented India for more than five years.
