Former Team India all-rounder and Chennai Super Kings star Suresh Raina is currently trending on twitter after England star batsman Jason Roy pulled out of IPL 2012 due to bio-bubble issues.

Raina, who is known as MR IPL, remain unsold in this year’s mega IPL auction. However the moment Roy decided to opt out of the mega event, Gujarat Titans started trending with Raina’s hashtag.

“Dear @gujarat_titans, as Roy is out, it’s your sign to get back the Don Suresh Raina back and win the IPL with Mr. IPL,” tweeted a fan.

“Jason Roy out, Suresh Raina in. Possible !!!! Excited?” another fan wrote in his twitter handle.

Raina has put up a stupendous performance in the mega event in the past. His numerous fans across the globe had batted for the south-paw to be bought in this year’s auction also. However, the veteran cricketer with a base price of Rs 2 crore was unsold for the first time in the history of the lucrative league.

However, a window of opportunity has been created for Raina after Roy pulled out of the tournament. There is a chance that Gujarat Lions may respect its fan feelings and rope in the veteran cricketer for the upcoming edition.

If it happens, Raina could be seen crossing swords with his former CSK and Team India captain as well as mentor MS Dhoni on the ground during the mega tournament.
