Match halted for snake attack

In the second T20I of the three-match series between India and South Africa back in October 2022, a snake was found at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. As a result, the play was suddenly halted. The ground-staff came rushing on to the field to catch the snake and take it off.

A curious monkey invaded the pitch during the first Test of the 2015 India-Sri Lanka series at Galle. The game was held up for some time due to the reason.
