Former Team India pacer S Sreesanth has recently posted a video of his daughter on Twitter playing an aggressive shot while working on her batting skills during a training session.

As per the former aggressive pacer, his little one wanted to play a stroke as Virat Kohli did during his innings in the last match against arch-rivals Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022.

Kohli (82 no, 53b) scored a magnificent half-century as India pepped arch-rivals Pakistan by four wickets in the nail-biting Super 12 encounter at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Chasing a challenging total of 160, India won the high-voltage clash off the last ball.

Sharing the video of his daughter’s batting, Sreesanth heaped praise on Kohli and revealed that his daughter Saanvika was inspired by the former India skipper’s match-winning knock at the MCG and wanted to practice a particular stroke hit by him.

“@imVkohli my scorpion brother..what a knock..just unbelievable shots ..my daughter wanted to practice that shot..nd looks like she is slowly getting thr.. her baby steps now..how’s it?? New generation #cricket #God #virat keep going strong brother,” he captioned the video.

Notably, at 31/4 India were looking down the barrel at one point in their chase against Pakistan. However, Kohli and Hardik Pandya (40, 37b) stitched together an effective partnership of 113 for the fifth-wicket to help India register the memorable victory.
