Team India players, who are currently participating in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia, recently expressed utter resentment after they were reportedly served cold sandwiches and falafel. The food was served to them after an exhausting practice session in Sydney on Tuesday. As per the cricketers, they were expecting a proper meal like hot food and fruits, in place of the falafel.

Several cricket experts and buffs have expressed their opinions regarding this issue. Former explosive Indian batsman Virender Sehwag has posted a cryptic tweet in which he has praised the Indian hospitality over the Western Countries.

“Gone are the days when one used to think that the Western countries offer so good hospitality. India are way ahead of most western countries when it comes to providing hospitality of the highest standards,” tweeted Sehwag who is known for his witty remarks.

The tweet has gone viral. Subsequently, everyone started speculating whether the former swashbuckling opener was hinting at the ‘Cold Sandwich’ incident.

Meanwhile, the team management rested all the fast bowlers while all-rounder Hardik Pandya, batter Suryakumar Yadav and spinner Axar Patel also did not take part in the optional training session ahead of the match against Netherlands.
