Former India captain and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batting mainstay Virat Kohli is grabbing the headlines recently for all the wrong reasons.

Recently, he had a spat with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor and former India opener Gautam Gambhir after the completion of a match in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). He was also involved in another controversy during IPL 2023 by refusing to shake hands with former BCCI President and Delhi Capitals (DC) team director Sourav Ganguly.

As per media reports, Kohli has written a letter in this regard to BCCI ahead of RCB’s game against DC at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday evening. In the letter to the BCCI, Kohli claimed that he is innocent. The aggressive batsman also mentioned in the letter that he did not do anything wrong.

Notably, Kohli has already been slapped a hefty amount of fine by the BCCI for his behaviour on the cricket field.

RCB are currently placed in the fifth position of the points table with 10 points in their kitty. They have played nine matches so far and won five of them. On the other hand, DC are languishing at the last spot in the table with six points. They have only won three matches from nine games so far.
