It has been over a month since the dream of 1.4 billion Indians was shattered as India lost the ICC World Cup Final against Australia in Ahmedabad. Many cricket experts hailed India’s phenomenon journey in the World Cup, winning 11 matches in a row. In this between, an unseen video of dejected Virat Kohli has gone viral on social media.

At the Narendra Modi Stadium, an utterly disappointed Kohli was seen in the video taking off his cap and removing the bails after Australia's top batsman Glenn Maxwell hit the winning runs and the whole Australian team went over to him to celebrate the huge victory as Australia became the World Cup Champions for the 6th time.

Virat Kohli lit up the World Cup with his batting prowess as he scored the most runs by a player with 765 runs in a single World Cup edition. He surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 673 runs and broke his idol’s record of 49 centuries in ODI cricket.

Currently, India are in South Africa playing a two-match test series where during the 1st test, Virat Kohli scored stoke-filled 76 but his efforts went in vain as India lost the 1st test at Centurion. India will look to bounce back with the 2nd test match starting tomorrow in the Newlands, Cape Town.

Currently, India are 6th on the World Test Championship’s Points Table.
