Former India captain Virat Kohli is one of the most loved cricketers of all time. He enjoys a massive fan following both on and off the field. He is one of the most followed sportspersons with 215M followers. 

The star batsman has set the bar so high that players not only in India but also in the world find it hard to match him. Now, after breaking all the records on field, he is now breaking off the field. 

According to a report by Hopper HQ Social, Kohli charges a whopping Rs 8.9 crore for one Instagram post. This makes him the costliest Indian to charge that much money for one Instagram post.

Not even superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan manage to make such a huge amount of money through an Instagram post. 

Beating all other sportspersons, he is world’s 4th mostly costly and most followed sportsperson just after Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar. Kohli has put behind all other sports persons like MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar to become the top four highest earning global sports stars on Instagram in 2022. 

Virat Kohli has been ranked 14th in the highest paid celebrities list in the world on Instagram. Adding another cap to his achievements, he is the only Indian to feature among the top 15 names in the list.

Among other Indians in the list of highest paid Insta celebs is actress Priyanka Chopra. The 'Desi Girl' reportedly charges a whopping Rs 3.5 crore per Insta post. The bubbly actress is ranked 27 in the list.
