After a break from the international cricket, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli will be next seen on Sunday when India will take on Pakistan in a high-voltage Asia Cup T20 match.

Ahead of the match, in an interview on BCCI.TV, Kohli said that he is the kind of person who wakes up and feels like let’s see what the day has for him.

“Everything I do in the field is with presence, involvement and happiness. Many ask me how I carry on my intensity, I just tell them I love playing the game and I will give every inch of my energy on the field,” the star batsman said.

He continued: “I always want to make my team win, if that means I am gasping for my breath, so be it. But it was not happening naturally, I had to push through it.”

Meanwhile, the star batsman will become the first Indian player to represent the country in hundred matches in all formats on Sunday.

India will begin their Asia Cup campaign with the high-voltage encounter against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on August 28.

India is the most successful side in the Asia Cup history with seven titles (1984, 1988, 1990-91, 1995, 2010, 2016, 2018) while Pakistan has won the title twice (2000, 2012).
