Power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are leading a happy married life and enjoying their parenting with their daughter, Vamika. Last year, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli acquired an eight-acre property in Alibaug.
On Sunday, Virat visited the property as construction of their farmhouse kicked off. As per the latest reports, Virat and Anushka want to have a cricket pitch on their property.
As per a report in ETimes, during their visit to the under-constructed property, reportedly, they asked the architect to build a farmhouse and also instructed them to focus on maintaining lush greenery around the property.
Furthermore, the report claims that Virat is keen to have a cricket pitch on the property and the couple is monitoring the construction work while sharing their valuable inputs.
Virat expressed his desire to have a cricket pitch so that he can continue his practice when the family is at the farmhouse or has plans for a quick game when their friends drop in. The couple is overseeing the property’s design and personalising it in every way possible so that it becomes a home away from home, the report says.
A source was quoted as saying, “All the necessary clearances have been received from the local bodies to begin construction. The land, acquired through real-estate company Samira Habitats, will house a spacious bungalow designed by Udayan Mazumdar and Blanca Bravo Reyes.”
Further, the source stated, “Both Virat and Anushka are nature lovers. They want the house to be well-lit, minimalistic, and surrounded by greenery. The property is being designed keeping their aesthetic in mind.”
