India will start their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia on October 23.

Both the sides played their first official warm-up games on Monday, with the Men in Blue winning their match by six runs against Australia. However, the Men in Green suffered a six-wicket defeat at the hands of England.

Following the completion of the warm-up matches, star Indian batter Virat Kohli and Pakistan captain Babar Azam were found training together at the nets in Gabba. Babar skipped the warm-up game against England with Shadab Khan leading the side. But, Kohli scored a cameo of 19 from 13 balls in the practice game against defending World Champions Australia.

However, Kohli was brilliant in the field effecting an incredible run-out and then taking a stunning one-handed catch off Mohammed Shami.

A video of Kohli and Babar batting together in the adjoining nets has gone viral on social media.

In the clip, Kohi was found batting aggressively and mostly facing short balls. Babar was also taking throwdowns. The Pakistan skipper also took a close look when Kohli was batting alongside him.
