The stage is all set for the India and Pakistan battle in a highly anticipated T20 World Cup 2024 match for the first time in New York, United States.  The biggest cricketing rivalry looks to renew itself at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Another interesting stat to remember is that the team batting second has won every game since India’s win over Pakistan in the 2007 finals. However, there has never been a tie in any matches between the arch-rivals.

Well, what happens if there is a tie in the match between India and Pakistan? For the unversed, as per ICC rules, all tied matches will proceed to a super over. And if that too is tied, subsequent super-overs will be played until a winner emerges.

Who can forget the famous tie between the two sides in the 2007 edition that India went on to win by a bowl-out (3-0). The match was played in Johannesburg and India edged Pakistan in a bowl-out after the match was tied at the end of both innings.

Hopefully, there is no tie this time like in 2007. However, even if there is a tie, the Men in Blue are currently the favourites to win the match owing to their dominant head-to-head record.

Meanwhile, for those who want to watch the match, it will be broadcast and streamed live through various rights holders. Disney Star will broadcast the match in India. Apart from this, the ICC has also arranged fan parks in New Delhi.

In the US, fan parks have been arranged at Epic Central in Texas and Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center.
