Oscar Piastri, who currently leads the F1 leaderboard in the ongoing season has been stunned by teenage cricketing sensation from India- Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Notably, Suryavanshi created history in the cash-rich Indian Premier League with a blistering 35-ball century for Rajasthan Royals, prompting reactions from fans across the world, including McLaren’s Piastri.
In response, the Australian F1 driver shared a post on Instagram, praising the youngster’s performance, which defied age. Sharing his picture and his record-breaking knock, Piastri wrote, “14,” referring to his age, followed by a clapping emoji.

Notably the soutpaw's blistering knock against Gujarat Titans in Jaipur helped Rajasthan Royals chase down their target with eight wickets to spare, as he swatted 11 sixes and seven fours en route to the fastest IPL century by an Indian.
After scoring his record-breaking IPL hundred, Suryavanshi said that he is focused on making his debut for the Indian national team soon.

"The truth is, now I have to push even harder ... work more, perform more, until I reach that level where I can represent India. I will continue working hard until I get there, and I aim to represent the country and contribute something good for it," said Suryavanshi.
