India has already stormed into the semi final of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. And, a big credit for India’s success goes to some of the clinical performance by middle order batter Suryakumar Yadav.

SKY has played some of the blistering innings of his life in the tournament paving India’s way to the semi finals of the grand event.

As India took on Zimbabwe today, SKY brought out the fireworks yet again with a whirlwind half-century to carry the Men in Blue to a mammoth 186/5 in 20 overs in Super 12 stage at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday. Surya scored 61 not out off just 25 balls.

He recently bagged the top position of ICC T20I batting ranking pipping Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan to the second spot.

However, Yadav was not aware of the fact and his reaction was priceless when he came to know about his feat during the post-match interview with ICC.

During the interview, ICC's presenter congratulated Surya for the achieving the milestone to which he immediately replied "Is it?"
"You didn't know about it?" asked the presenter again.

"I didn't know about it. I was just opening my phone, taking messages from all my friends and family,” Surya can be heard saying in the video which was shared by ICC.

India's brief scores: 186/5 in 20 overs (Suryakumar Yadav 61 not out, KL Rahul 51.

Zimbabwe: Sean Williams 2/9, Sikandar Raza 1/18).
