Indian young and stylish cricketer and Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill has made a significant contribution to healthcare by donating medical equipment worth Rs 35 lakh to the Phase-VI Civil Hospital in Mohali. 

The charming cricketer’s secret donation is part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and aims to enhance medical services in the region.

Generous Donation:

The donated equipment includes ventilators, ICU beds, operation theatre tables, ceiling lights, syringe pumps, and X-ray machines. Dr. Sangeeta Jain, the Civil Surgeon of Mohali, expressed gratitude for Gill's support, noting that the equipment would be allocated based on the hospital’s requirements and could also benefit other hospitals if needed.

Gill's connection to Mohali is profound; he trained in the city during his formative years and is currently building a residence there. His aunt, Dr. Kushaldeep Kaur, the District Immunisation Officer of Patiala, attended the donation ceremony, highlighting the family's commitment to societal welfare.

Upcoming IPL Schedule:

Talking about the ongoing IPL season, the Gujarat Titans are set for an exciting series of matches in the IPL 2025 season. Their upcoming fixtures include a home game against Delhi Capitals on April 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Following this, they will face Kolkata Knight Riders away on April 21 and Rajasthan Royals on April 28. On May 2, the Titans will host Sunrisers Hyderabad, travel to play Mumbai Indians on May 6, and visit Delhi Capitals on May 11.

They will then host Lucknow Super Giants on May 14 and conclude the league stage with a home match against Chennai Super Kings on May 18.
