India’s promising batsman Shubman Gill has been rewarded in the latest ICC ODI Rankings for his consistent showing in ODI cricket.

As per the latest rankings announced today, Gill has moved to his career-best position of No. 4 on the batting chart. Gill has 738 points in his kitty which is only two points fewer than No. 3 Imam-ul-Haq of Pakistan.

Gill was in excellent form in the 50-over format of the game, scoring as many as three hundreds in the calendar year. On the other hand, Kohli scored 427 runs, including two hundreds and a fifty in ODIs in the ongoing year.

Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam is holding the top spot in the batsman’s list with 887 points. He is followed by South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen. Former India skipper and star batsman Virat Kohli jumped to No. 6 with 719 points in his kitty.

The Men in Blue have three batters in the top 10 as skipper Rohit Sharma also retained his spot at No. 8. Rohit has currently 707 points in his kitty.

In the bowling chart, India’s emerging pacer Mohammed Siraj retained his third spot with 691 points.
