Shoaib Malik finally responds to divorce rumours with Sania Mirza

Days after Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar responded to her alleged relationship with Sania Mirza’s husband Shoaib Malik, the cricketer has now finally responded to the divorce rumours.

Amid the reports of Shoaib and Sania heading towards divorce after 12 years of their marriage, Shoaib broke his silence recently during an interview with an online portal.

Addressing the rumours, the former Pakistan skipper told the Express Tribune, "It is our personal matter. Neither I nor my wife is answering this question. Leave it alone."

Meanwhile, reports are there that the couple is already living separately and co-parenting their son Izhaan. And, they have decided to file for divorce but their prior commitment to appear together in different shows is forcing them to postpone their decision for the time being.

As they have signed contract, both the sports stars need to complete shooting before filing for divorce.

On the other hand, Shoaib and Sania were recently spotted together shooting in Dubai for their show, “The Mirza Malik Show ” for a Pakistan-based OTT platform.

Earlier when Ayesha was asked if she was getting married to Shoaib, she had replied, "He is happily married and I respect the couple. I and Shoaib are good friends and well-wishers, these types of relationships also exist in the world."

In 2009, Shoaib and Sania had tied the knot and since then, they have been reportedly living in Dubai.
