Sarfaraz Khan silences critics with incredible body transformation

Sarfaraz Khan, regarded as one of India’s standout performers in domestic red-ball cricket, has stunned fans with an incredible physical transformation, shedding 17 kilograms. Despite his consistent performances in the domestic circuit, Sarfaraz was not included in India’s squad for the Test series in England, with critics often pointing to his fitness as a reason for his exclusion.

Although he made his Test debut against England in February last year, the talented batter has yet to secure a regular spot in the side.

Determined to silence his detractors, Sarfaraz took to social media to share a picture from the gym, revealing his impressive weight loss journey. Fans flooded the post with praise for his grit and commitment.

After being overlooked by the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee for the England tour, several former players, including Harbhajan Singh, voiced their support for Sarfaraz. Harbhajan expressed his surprise at the omission, saying:

“It’s very unfortunate… I was quite shocked not to see his name in the squad. But I believe he’ll bounce back stronger. He has the determination to make a comeback. My advice to him is not to lose heart—your time will come. Just look at Karun Nair. He scored a triple century against England and didn’t get many chances after that. But now, he’s back with the team in England.”

Having lost favor with the BCCI selectors and the team management following an underwhelming Australia tour, Sarfaraz’s renewed focus on fitness sends a strong message about his resolve to return stronger.
