Sania Mirza makes first public appearance after divorce from Shoaib Malik – Watch

Ace tennis star Sania Mirza, who had hogged the limelight for her estranged relationship with Pakistani cricketer-husband Shoaib Malik, made her first public appearance at an event in Mumbai after the much-publicised divorce.

In a red dress with golden prints, Sania looked drop-dead gorgeous as she stepped for the occasion. She paired her red dress with a pair of golden pumps and left her tress open in waves. Although she looked a little conscious, she posed happily for the paps and often kept her glowing smile.

She had a brief discussion with the paps after they kept asking her to pose in a certain way and at a certain spot. Smiling at them, Sania said that they always had too many instructions. Everything said, she looked happy and at peace both in and out.

This is her first public appearance after her split with Shoaib who recently married Pakistani actress Sana Javed. Sania who is currently taking care of her son seemed happy after finally coming out of her controversial marriage. Interestingly, fans from both India and the neighbouring country Pakistan stood by Sania and brutally trolled Shoaib for being a ‘wife-changer’.

Rumours of troubles in their marriage started doing rounds on social media after a photoshoot of Shoaib with Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar went viral. However, it was later known that Shoaib was secretly in a relationship with actress Sana Javed and not Ayesha Omar.

Despite repeated trolling, actress Ayesha Omar maintained a dignified silence and maintained that she wasn’t a home-breaker. Fans were left in shock after Shoaib dropped his marriage pictures with Sana Javed.

On the other hand, Sania Mirza, who has always been a private person, has requested the media to maintain and respect her privacy and her family.
