Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar revealed that he was pained to see his morphed images used by a casino to promote itself on social media.

The Master Blaster said he won't sit silently on the issue and his lawyer will be taking legal action against the casino for using the edited images.

Tendulkar, who has numerous records under his belt, stressed that he was pained to see his images being used to mislead people.

Taking to Twitter, Sachin issued a statement over the issue and urged fans to stay vigilant about such incidents.

He captioned the post, "Requesting everyone to remain vigilant about misleading images on social media."

In the statement, he further wrote, "It has come to my notice that there are multiple ads being shown on social media platforms, with a morphed photo showing me endorsing a casino."

"I have never endorsed gambling, tobacco or alcohol - directly or indirectly, in an individual capacity. It pains to see that my images are being used to mislead people," he stated.

“While my legal team will be taking the required action, I felt it was important for me to share this information with everyone," he added.

Notably, Tendulkar's images were used to promote 'Big Daddy' casino, which is located in Goa, on social media platforms.
