Sachin Tendulkar plays Holi with Teammates
Holi, the festival of colors, is a time when people of all ages come together to celebrate with loved ones. This year, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar turned into a prankster during the Holi celebrations at the India Masters team hotel in Raipur. Leading the charge, Sachin orchestrated a playful water gun attack on his former teammate Yuvraj Singh, who was caught off guard while enjoying a late sleep after his heroic performance in the semi-final match.
In a light-hearted video shared on social media, Sachin is seen explaining that Yuvraj had taken a well-deserved rest after delivering a match-winning knock against Australia in the semi-final of the International Masters League (IML) 2025, held at Raipur's Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on March 13. Sachin, along with Yusuf Pathan and Rahul Sharma, sneaked up to Yuvraj's room on the first floor and tricked him into opening the door before dousing him in colours with a water gun.
The celebrations didn't end there, as the group moved to the hotel lawn, where Sachin himself became a target. Yusuf Pathan playfully drenched the cricketing icon with a bucket of water as the entire team immersed themselves in the festive spirit, soaked in vibrant colors.
Just a day before the Holi celebrations, Sachin Tendulkar’s Indian Masters team had crushed Australia in the semi-final of the IML 2025. The team posted a formidable total of 220 runs, with Yuvraj Singh dazzling the crowd with a fiery knock of 59 off 30 balls. Sachin, living up to his legendary status, scored an impressive 42 runs, giving fans plenty to cheer about.
The joyous Holi festivities brought a refreshing contrast to the intense cricket action, showcasing the playful camaraderie among the legends of Indian cricket.
