Virat Kohli needs no introduction, a player with over 26,000 international runs and 80 centuries who not only gets praised for his success but also for maintaining the same level of intensity outside the field as well. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has heaped praises on Virat Kohli as he eluded that there is a lot to learn from the former captain.

Speaking to Dinesh Karthik on Jio Cinema, Rohit said that before learning the batting technique from Kohli, the youngsters needed to have a look at the standards he maintains and the hunger he has to play despite so much success at the international level.

Sharma explained that there are some changes that a person needs to do from within and for youngsters he advised that they could see Virat Kohli and change their attitude and ways accordingly.

"Virat has never been to NCA in his entire career. I would say that all the younger players should look up to the passion that he has. First things first you have to understand what is the quality of the player that makes him where he is today," he added.

"I have watched Kohli enough. He can easily be satisfied with what he has achieved. He can say that I will take it easy in these 2-3 series, I will come later, but he is always there for the team.”

Passion, hunger and the pride to play for India were the main requisites to play for the national team, Rohit concluded.
