The Blue Army led by India skipper Rohit Sharma is giving sleepless nights to their opponents with back-to-back successive wins in the ODI World Cup 2023. The Men in Blue roared into the Finals after easily mauling the Kane Williamson-led New Zealand team at the Wankhede Stadium.

All the players are in terrific form and smashing tons after tons. While Rohit Sharma led the game with his huge sixes and fours, Shubman Gill also played an impressive innings in yesterday’s match. However, it was Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer’s partnership that helped India score 397 runs.

King Kohli smashed his 50th ton and created history. Similarly, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer also contributed with the bat and smashed a stellar second hundred in the ongoing World Cup 2023. However, it was Hitman and India skipper Rohit Sharma’s dance that stole the show last night.

After Shreyas Iyer’s century, the Hitman playfully imitated Iyer’s iconic century celebration and was spotted dancing from the heart of the dressing room. Seeing Rohit dance, star players Kuldeep Yadav and Shubman Gill could not control their laughter.

Their infectious laughter echoed the spirit of unity and camaraderie within the Indian squad. Rohit’s hilarious celebration erupted after Iyer achieved his century in just 67 balls to secure the title of the fastest hundred in a World Cup semi-final.

With his century, Shreyas also positioned himself as the third fastest century-maker by any Indian player, trailing only behind the records set by KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma himself. The star player got a standing ovation from the crowd at the Wankhede Stadium for his heroics.

Hailing from Mumbai, the 28-year-old cricketer experienced a special resonance with fans who showered him with a reception befitting a hometown hero. The Blue Army has now secured a spot in the Finals, a significant achievement and the first since their victorious campaign in 2011.
