The Hitman’s solid century not only led the home side to victory but also helped team India grab the three-match series.
While his brilliant batting won the hearts of millions, his sweet gesture for a little fan has increased the respect for him among his fans. During a team dinner at the hotel in Bhubaneswar, the opener batsman made a young fan's day by graciously signing an autograph on the T-shirt he was wearing.
Rohit was sitting at the dinner table alongside Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and coaching staff members Abhishek Nayar and T Dilip when the young fan approached. The Indian skipper patted the boy's back and fulfilled his wish by signing the autograph.

This sweet gesture of the Hitman was caught on camera and has been winning hearts online. The adorable video also showcases the approachability and warmth of the Indian captain towards his young admirers.
Rishabh Pant, who was sitting beside Rohit Sharma, also engaged with the young fan. He asked the boy, 'Kya karte ho?' (What do you do?), to which the fan replied that he plays cricket and is an all-rounder. The fan then approached Pant for an autograph as well, which the wicketkeeper-batsman happily provided.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma smashed a 90-ball 119 with 12 fours and seven sixes, leading India to a four-wicket victory. This innings marked his first ODI century since October 2023, breaking a dry spell in international cricket. Despite the pressure and scrutiny, Rohit maintained a composed mindset during his brilliant stint.
Team India is now all set to clean sweep the three-match series in the final showdown at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
