Tennis legend Roger Federer swept the world earlier this month when he retired from the sport after an emotional farewell at the Laver Cup in London. The Swiss master partnered with his great rival Rafael Nadal for the last match of his two-decade long career but fell short of the win. While emotions ran high at the full-packed The O2 arena, touching tributes flooded the social media bidding goodbye to the 20-time Grand Slam champion.

A few days later, India cricket maestro Virat Kohli too posted a special message for Roger and his epic career in which he labeled him as "greatest of all time". The ATP Tour posted the video of the Indian run machine on their Insta account and captioned it "Thank you for all the incredible memories, Roger."

Kohli in the heartwarming video said, “It's a great honour for me to be able to send this video across for you, congratulating you on a phenomenal career that has given us so many beautiful moments and memories… hat kind of unity I've never seen for any other individual athlete ever. That is something that cannot be created, that cannot be generated in anyway.”

To the delight of tennis lovers and his fans, Federer shared Kohli’s video on his Instagram story and thanked the cricket legend for his special message.

Roger also made the day for his Indians when he also revealed his big wish in reply to Kohli. "I hope to make it to India soon,” wrote the Tennis great.
