RJ Mahvash & Yuzvendra Chahal
Radio jockey and content creator RJ Mahvash has once again stirred speculation about her relationship with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal through her latest Instagram reel.
The post, which many fans believe subtly hints at their alleged romance, comes amid Chahal’s recent divorce settlement with choreographer Dhanashree Verma.

In a recently shared video, Mahvash states, "Koi ladka aayega toh wo hoga bas ek… wohi friend hoga, wohi best friend hoga, wohi boyfriend hoga, wohi husband hoga," which translates to, "If a guy comes into my life, he will be the only one… he will be my friend, my best friend, my boyfriend, and my husband." She captioned the reel, "Bas ek hi hoga" ("There will be only one"), leading many to believe that she was referring to Chahal.
The rumours initially gained traction when Mahvash was spotted alongside Chahal at the ICC Champions Trophy final in Dubai. Further fueling the speculation, fans noted that Mahvash was reportedly in Lucknow around the time of a recent Indian Premier League (IPL) match, where Chahal’s team, Lucknow Super Giants, played against Punjab Kings at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. A Reddit user commented, "How long are they going to deny it?"
Chahal’s personal life has been under scrutiny following his divorce from Dhanashree Verma . The couple, who married in December 2020, recently settled their separation, with Chahal reportedly agreeing to pay ₹4.75 crore in alimony. The first installment of ₹2.37 crore has already been paid, according to ABP Live. Earlier reports suggesting a ₹60 crore alimony demand were dismissed as baseless by Dhanashree’s family (Times of India, ABP Live).
Dhanashree’s latest music video has sparked further controversy, with some speculating that it hints at Chahal’s alleged infidelity. In a subtle response, Chahal was recently seen wearing a T-shirt with the phrase, "Be your own sugar daddy," which many interpreted as a dig at his ex-wife.
RJ Mahvash has established herself as a prominent media personality, beginning her career as a radio host during her final year of college. She later expanded into digital content creation, collaborating with renowned cricketers such as Brett Lee, Suresh Raina, and Chris Gayle.
In 2022, she hosted Playground Season 1, a gaming reality show on Amazon miniTV. She later founded Cinemawala Productions in 2023 and debuted as a producer with the film Section 108, featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Regina Cassandra. In 2024, Mahvash announced her first web series as a lead actress, produced by Yash Patnaik, which is set to premiere on Amazon miniTV.
An alumna of Jamia Millia Islamia University, Mahvash holds an MA in Communication and Media Studies, and she completed her bachelor’s degree at Aligarh Muslim University.
As of now, neither RJ Mahvash nor Yuzvendra Chahal has publicly confirmed their relationship.
