With just 11 days for the IPL 2024 to begin, fans of Rishabh Pant are super excited for the aggressive wicketkeeper-batsman to return to competitive cricket in the upcoming edition of the IPL after his tragic accident. Delhi Capitals is scheduled to lock horns with Punjab Kings, and fans cannot wait to see Pant in action again.

He has been given medical clearance and green signal by the National Cricket Academy (NDA) to compete in the upcoming IPL. The news comes as a huge relief for Delhi Capitals and Pant’s fans as they missed their talisman last year.

The return of the left-handed wicketkeeper-batsman means he will be joining Delhi Capitals as the captain. Social media is flooded with videos and pictures of Pant with fans trending #RishabhPant as a mark of love and respect for the star cricketer.

“Rishabh Pant's terrific sixes and power-hitting will be a spectacle! 💥 He treats star bowlers like mere gully bowlers, showcasing a masterclass in destructive batting,” commented a fan.

Another fan wrote, “Gentle reminder that Rishabh will be back on field in less than 11 days ✌️💙.”

“🏏 Explosive with the bat, electric behind the stumps – Rishabh Pant is cricket's showstopper! 🚀🧤 From fearless knocks to acrobatic wicketkeeping, he's redefining the game. Cheers to the dynamic game-changer! 🙌🔥 #RishabhPant #CricketMagic #GameChanger,” shared another fan.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Pointing has asserted confidence in the game-changer and provided the latest update on his fitness.

“It’s a big decision we’ll have to make because if he is fit, you’d think he’d step straight back into the captaincy role. If he’s not entirely fit and we have to use him in a slightly different role, then we’ve got some decisions to make there,” Ponting revealed.

Worth mentioning, Pant has not played any form of cricket since his near fatal accident in December 2022.
