RCB fans sacrifice goat in front of Virat Kohli cutout after victory against CSK, 3 arrested

As many as three RCB fans were arrested by the Karnataka Police for allegedly sacrificing a goat in front of Virat Kohli’s cutout at Mariyammanahalli village on Tuesday after the team's victory against CSK on May 3.

As per reports published in some sections of media, a group of young fans cut a goat’s head as a sacrifice offering to Kohli, and used a weapon to do it.

The video of the incident immediately went viral over various social media platforms following which the arrests were made. The arrested RCB fans have been identified as Palayya, Jayanna and Thippeswamy.

As per sources, the arrested persons used the goat’ blood to offer 'Abhishek' to Kohli cut-out, as part of celebrations after RCB's victory.

In the viral video one person is found holding a goat in front of Kohli’s cut-out, followed by another announcing RCB’s win over CSK. Then the goat is slaughtered and subsequently the blood was offered to the Kohli cutout. Meanwhile, the third fan was found restraining the goat with a rope.
