RCB winning IPL 2025
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are no longer just fan favourites, they’re now the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) most valuable franchise.
Riding high on their maiden IPL title win in 2025, RCB have surpassed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in brand value, marking a stunning rise for a team that struggled for years to break their championship drought.
According to cricketaddictor, RCB’s brand value surged to $269 million in 2025, up from $227 million last year. Mumbai Indians followed closely at $242 million while CSK slipped to third with $235 million after a forgettable season that saw the MS Dhoni-led side finish bottom of the table.
Punjab Kings also impressed, recording the highest growth of 39.6% to reach $141 million after their remarkable run to the final.
The IPL itself is now valued at $18.5 billion (₹1.56 trillion), cementing its place among the world’s top sports leagues. The league’s brand value jumped 13.8% to $3.9 billion, thanks to record-breaking viewership, advertising revenues, and global investor interest.
JioHotstar reported 1.37 billion views during the opening weekend, with 21.8 billion minutes of total watch time.
RCB’s ascent to the top highlights the changing dynamics of IPL franchises and cricket’s growing commercial clout.
As the league, IPL, evolves into a global sporting juggernaut, RCB’s story is a testament to perseverance, brand building, and the ever-growing passion of its fans.
