Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Ravindra Jadeja has removed all posts related to the team’s 2021 and 2022 seasons from his official Instagram account. It is seen as an indication that all is not well between the all-rounder and the IPL franchise.

The utility all-rounder was named the skipper of the franchise earlier this year after MS Dhoni relinquished his captaincy ahead of the last season of IPL. However, the all-rounder stepped down halfway through the 2022 season stating that the captaincy was impacting his individual performance.

Dhoni became the captain of the side again and Jadeja was later ruled out of the IPL with an injury. The bowling all-rounder had a forgettable IPL season with the franchise.

Fans were quick to notice that Jadeja had removed all the pictures linked to the IPL 2021 and 2022 campaigns of the CSK from his Instagram profile.

The all-rounder didn’t also wish Dhoni on his birthday this year which he does every year.

“Jadeja has deleted all his CSK-related posts on Instagram. Something is definitely not right,” tweeted a fan. Another fan wrote, "During the IPL, a rift between Jadeja and Dhoni was quite visible which impacted the former's performance too."

However, a section of fans also rebuffed the reports and termed the rumours as false and baseless. "A rift between Sir Jadeja and MS is hard to believe and just next to impossible. Respect their friendship...," commented a fan.

Notably, Jadeja was brilliant in his comeback match against England despite a poor outing in the last edition of IPL.
