A few weeks back, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi was very much in contention of finding a spot in Men in Blue’s T20 World Cup squad.

However, the Indian board announced the squad and Bishnoi’s name was missing from it. He was demoted to the standby list. And that surprised several cricket buffs as he looked good and deserved to make the squad.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Axar Patel were preferred ahead of Bishnoi. The young wrist-spinner has now taken to social media and posted a cryptic story. He posted a story with the caption, “The sun will rise, and we will try again.”

Here is the screenshot of the story he shared on Instagram:

The young leg-spinner has so far played 10 T20Is in his career and has picked up 16 wickets. His economy rate of 7.08 during this period is also very impressive.

Meanwhile, Team India will look for the ideal combination before the all-important T20 World Cup when they take on a well-balanced Australian side in the three-match T20I series against a well-balanced Australian side.
