Promising batsman Sarfaraz Khan (134, 243b, 13x4, 2x6) continued his brilliant form with another gritty century against Madhya Pradesh in the all important Ranji Trophy at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.

It was not an usual free-flowing knock by Sarfaraz as he had to work very hard against the strong bowling side. He took 190 balls to score the century laced with 12 boundaries. Moreover, his emotional celebration after reaching the milestone with a boundary off Kumar Kartikeya was worth watching.

The teary-eyed batter jumped in elation and after that he did that iconic move by late Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, where he slaps his thigh and then points a finger upwards. The emotional moment for Sarfaraz won millions of hearts across the country and the video has gone viral over various social media platforms.

Sarfaraz was doggy in his approach as he kept losing partners at the other end. However, the situation did not perturb him as he continued batting normally and helped Mumbai score a challenging first innings total of 374 on a difficult wicket.

Sarfaraz Khan currently has more than 2,200 first-class runs at an average over 80 with seven hundreds. None of his previous six hundreds have ended below 150. He has two double hundreds, one triple hundred and two 150-plus scores to his credit.
