Team India’s promising batsman Shubman Gill recently made a visit to the iconic Parc des Princes stadium in France which is home to the prestigious Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club.

Gill’s visit to France came after India’s crushing defeat against Australia in the recently-concluded World Test Championship (WTC) at the Oval.

After the defeat in the marquee game, most of the Indian cricketers have been enjoying their well-deserved break from the cricket field with no scheduled events until July. During this period, Gill decided to embark on a trip to Paris to visit the home ground of one of his favourite football teams.

PSG recognized Gill’s visit and presented him with a team jersey. The team took to their official Twitter handle and shared a photo of Gill posing in the stadium, proudly holding a number 7 jersey with a smiling face and heart-eyed emoji.

“Namaste dosto, here’s India’s favorite cricketer and PSG fan @ShubmanGill at Parc des Princes,” the caption of the picture read.

Earlier this month, Gill had the pleasure of attending the highly anticipated FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley Stadium in London.  The promising batter was accompanied by his India teammate Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
