One of the greatest ever catches stuns internet- watch

They say- catches win matches. In cricket, we often see players converting half chances or even pulling off stunners to turn the match on its head in their team’s favour.

In another such instance, Wellington captain Nick Kelly and Troy Johnson have taken the internet by storm by pulling off an incredible catch during their Super Smash match against Central Districts on Saturday.

In the game, New Zealand and Central Districts opener Will Young played a lofted shot towards long-on. Kelly, who was deployed at mid-on, made a desperate run backwards before catching the ball in a never before seen manner. As he was about to touch the rope while diving forward, Kelly showed great awareness to throw the ball back towards Johnson, who was making his way towards the boundary from long-off.

Johnson made no mistake as he pouched the ball after Kellys throw. The video clip of the stunning catch has gone viral over various social media platforms.
