Odisha star Suchitra Parida to represent India at Paris 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix

Suchitra Parida, a distinguished para athlete from Odisha, will represent India at the Paris 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix, scheduled to be held in Paris, France from June 2 to June 5, 2025.

Suchitra will compete in the F-55 Women’s Throw Events – Javelin and Shot Put categories.

In 2025, she has already achieved remarkable milestones. She has won Gold Medals in F-55 Women’s Javelin Throw at the New Delhi World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2025 and National Para Athletics Championship 2025 held in Chennai.

She currently holds the World No. 2 ranking in her category – a testament to her determination, hard work, and exceptional talent.

The Paris Grand Prix is a prestigious international competition where some of the world’s best para athletes participate. This year, 30 para athletes from India will be competing in the event, aiming to bring glory to the nation.

Para Sports Association of Odisha has congratulated Suchitra for her selection.
