NPC Bodybuilding Championship: Mr Odisha Title Goes To Jagannath Khuntia

Odisha bodybuilder Jagannath Khuntia was crowned with Mr. Odisha title in the National Physique Committee (NPC) Bodybuilding Championship held in Bhubaneswar on April 9 and 10. Similarly, in the Women’s Physique category, Jyotsnarani bagged the gold medal.

As many as 60 bodybuilders in male and female categories participated in the event from all over the country. This is the first time, the NPC Bodybuilding Championship was being organized in Odisha.

The competition was held in a total of seven categories like Women's Physique, Men's Classic Physique, Men's Body Building, Men's Physique, and Star Body Building.

Organized jointly by the NPC Odisha Bodybuilding Federation and RR-27 at the Railway Indoor Stadium in the Odisha capital city, the event carried a total winning prize of Rs 6.50 lakh.

The National Physique Committee is one of the largest amateur bodybuilding organisations in the world and the only one to be recognised by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro League.
