MS Dhoni gives autograph on fan’s shoes; netizens call him ‘Thala’ for a reason

Without an iota of doubt, former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the best captains of team India. Known for his calm and coolness on the field, Dhoni is also one of the most loved cricketers in the world.

Despite his retirement from international cricket, Dhoni is being adored by crores of sports lovers across the globe. Apart from his cricket skills, he is winning hearts mostly for his simple, down-to-earth nature. Recently, Captain Cool signed a fan’s shoes and fans cannot stop praising the former skipper for his humility.

Despite being such a great cricketer and owner of thousands of crores, MS Dhoni did not shy away from touching the fan’s shoes and giving an autograph on it. This is why he is called the ‘Thala’ for a reason.

A video of the entire incident has now been going viral with praises coming from all quarters for MS Dhoni’s simplicity. In the viral video, Dhoni can be seen sitting on a chair. Later, a fan brings his Nike Air Jordan shoes and hands them over to Dhoni for his autograph. Captain Cool also happily takes the shoes in his hand and signs over it.

Sharing the video, the fan identified as Siddharth Kerketta wrote, “Thank you Mahi bhai for making my day and giving an autograph on my NIKE AIR JORDAN POWDER BLUE.” Since being shared online, the video has garnered over 163K likes on Instagram and the number is only increasing each passing second.

“Bhai woh shoes frame karde, pehenna mat,” a fan wrote.

Another fan wrote, “Lucky fellow, and hats off to Mahi’s humility.”
