There have been several reports of Roger Binny replacing Sourav Ganguly as the BCCI President. On Tuesday, Roger Binny, a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team, filed his nomination and is likely to get the post of BCCI President unopposed.

However, nothing has been ascertained as of yet. Meanwhile, Ganguly is spending quality time with his family, especially with his beautiful daughter Sana Ganguly. He adores his baby girl and spends quality time with her.

Lovingly called ‘Dada’ by cricket fans, the former Team India skipper is the proud father of a teenage daughter Sara Ganguly. He loves her a lot and often posts pictures of her on his Instagram handle.

For the uninitiated, Sana has done her elementary schooling from La Martiniere for Girls and then went to Loreto House School for her intermediate. Sana completed her higher studies from Oxford University in London.

Sana is also a trained Odissi dancer just like her mother Dona Ganguly who is a trained classical dancer. Sana gave her first stage performance at the age of 7.

Sana grabbed the limelight in December 2019 after she expressed outrage over the assault on students by Delhi Police in Jamia Millia Islamia University over CAA. The junior Ganguly took to her Instagram page to blast Delhi Police. However, Sourav Ganguly defended Sana and said that she was too young to understand politics. Later, Sana deleted the controversial post.

On the other hand, Ganguly wanted his little daughter to be a cricketer like Jhulan Goswami, ace Indian pacer.

"Jhulan played great cricket for so many years and has had an incredible career graph. If my daughter ever played cricket, I would tell her to be like Jhulan Goswami. But that didn't happen. Jhulan's retirement at a ground like Lord's is undoubtedly going to be a great affair," Ganguly had stated during the star cricketer’s retirement.
