Mumbai Indians Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was at his lethal best against Royal Challengers Bengaluru when he picked his second fifer, 5-21, which helped MI register its second consecutive win.
The current purple cap holder dismantled the batting line-up of RCB as he wasted no time in making an impact to dismiss Virat Kohli for just 3 runs. Bumrah’s exceptional performance single-handedly restricted RCB to 196/8.
Following MI's resounding win, Bumrah was applauded not only by the cricket experts but also by a counterpart from RCB.
Jasprit Bumrah is now the purple cap holder with 10 wickets and Virat Kohli sits at the top with 319 runs as most runs in IPL 2024.

Mohammed Siraj came up to Bumrah during the customary handshakes and bowed down to his India teammate. Bumrah, surprised by the gesture, took a step back before the duo hugged.
With back-to-back wins at home, Mumbai Indians have already given alarming signs to other teams because of their powerhouse batting lineup.
