Cricketers, especially Indian players, are semi-gods for their fans. They enjoy a huge fanbase even after retirement and earn in crores through ads, business, and investments. Some even earn through cricket commentary, coaching, or administration.

However, a teammate of cricket legend MS Dhoni is now working as a bus driver. He is living a low life after his retirement from the game. Yes, you read that right! We are talking about Sri Lanka star Suraj Randiv who currently works as a bus driver.

Suraj played in the 2011 World Cup and was also the teammate of MS Dhoni at Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He played for CSK for two seasons and has also been part of the Sri Lanka national team at the World Cup.

Soon after leaving cricket, Randiv decided to move to Australia. He lives there with this family. In 2020, he was also invited by Cricket Australia for a temporary role as a net bowler to bowl for Australian cricketers in the nets.

Later, he was hired as a bus driver in Australia’s Melbourne by a company called Transdev. Since then, he has been living in Australia and working as a bus driver, reported India.com.
