A couple of days after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batting mainstay Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor Gautam Gambhir reignited their age-old rivalry with the infamous on-field altercation in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has posted an eye-catching message for both of them.

Yuvi took to Twitter and called out the two icons of the game by posting a cheeky message.

“I think #Sprite should sign #Gauti and #Cheeku for their campaign #ThandRakh what say guys? @GautamGambhir @imVkohli @Sprite,” the former all-rounder tweeted.

Amid the fierce dabate about the ‘spirit of cricket’ among several fans and experts over various social media platforms after the ugly altercation between Kohli and Gambhir, Yuvraj’s cheeky post has become the talk of the town.

The tweet has reportedly gone viral. It has so far garnered around 45,000 likes. Reacting to the post, several fans have flooded the comment box with amusing remarks.

“Sprite, a popular drink, might sign two famous people, Gauti and Cheeku, to be part of their new campaign. People think this is a good idea,” tweeted a fan.

“Paaji Stuart Broad ya Andrew Flintoff se baat hoti hai kya?” wrote another fan in jest.

Former Team India swashbuckling opener Virendra Sehwag had earlier condemned the ugly spat between the iconic cricketers and said what happened was not right.

“I switched off the TV once the match got over. I had no idea about what happened after the match. The next day when I woke up, I saw a lot of chaos on social media. What happened was not right. The loser should quietly accept defeat and walk away and the winning team should celebrate. Why did they need to say anything to each other,” said Sehwag.
