KL Rahul spotted at strip club: Athiya Shetty confirms & slams, here’s what she said

KL Rahul is in the headlines after a video of the young Indian cricketer went viral on social media and certain reports claimed that he was spotted at a strip club in London. While social media users trolled the cricketer, his wife Athiya confirmed that it was Rahul in the video and furthermore, she slammed the reports and trolls.

Rahul is currently in England, and he underwent surgery a few weeks ago for a thigh injury sustained during an IPL 2023 game. The cricketer had also uploaded a picture of himself in which he was seen walking with crutches and informed about his successful surgery.

However, after the video went viral on social media with netizens trolling the cricketer, his actress wife Athiya took a stand for herself and her husband and issued a statement through her Instagram. 

Athiya’s statement read: I usually choose to be silent and not react, but sometimes it's important to stand up for yourself. Rahul, I and our friends went out to a regular place, as one does. Stop taking things out of context and check your facts before reporting. Peace and love.
